I've been here for 16 days, but most times it feels like I've never been gone.
I've settled back in, caught up with most of my friends, and begun my walks and hikes in the back forty.
As much as I like to be with others while hiking, I also enjoy the solitude and quite of being alone. The beauty of the landscape always takes my breath away, especially with the snow covered trees and the extremely blue sky as a backdrop.
If I think I need to let anyone know where I am going, I'll leave a note, but most times I never end up going where I started out for.
